WHERE TO STAY
There are Airbnbs available in the area and other accommodation options in Albury.
We have listed a few below, but note that the list is not exhaustive.
WHAT TO DO
Breakfast — The Ten Mile, Holbrook. This is our go-to most mornings. In Albury, the Proprietor, Mr Benedict, are good spots for breakfast.
Shopping — Lady Gail's (cash only) — she is a Holbrook icon with an interesting collection of curios.
Culture — MAMA Murray Art Museum in Albury
Lunch & Dinner — The Woomargama Hotel does a great chicken parmi; and a good dinner option in Holbrook is the Holbrook Hotel
FAQS
Gifts
Your presence is a gift enough.
We’re incredibly grateful that you are all making your way to Woomargama for our wedding.
If you do still wish to give a gift, please consider donating to the Human Dignity Trust, a charitable organisation based in London that challenges laws that criminalise and punish gay people in jurisdictions across the world. There are currently 66 jurisdictions around the world that punish intimacy between people of the same sex, and 12 that impose the death penalty. Donations can be made through their online portal.
Dress Code
Expect a mild spring afternoon of around 18–22°C, dropping to 8–12°C after sunset, so a warm layer for the evening is recommended.
As part of the day will involve walking across paddocks, heels are not advised. Block heels or wedges are suitable, though flats are ideal.
For gentlemen, a suit and tie is expected, not smart casual.
For ladies, below-the-knee and floor-length dresses are both perfectly appropriate. Colour and print are encouraged.
For Sunday Lunch, we welcome casual attire.
Will transport be provided?
Return buses will be provided from Albury, Holbrook, and Woomargama Village. Buses will leave the event
several times over the course of the evening.
Further details will be available on the website at a closer time.
Can I drive myself to the property?
On our wedding day we kindly ask to use the transport provided as we cannot have cars onsite.
For the Sunday lunch you are welcome to drive.
Are children invited?
As the wedding will be held on a working farm property, we are unable to accommodate children.
We ask that only guests named on the invitation attend.
Children can attend the grazing lunch the following day.
Venue Information
Woomargama Station is a large working property with livestock and machinery.
We ask that all guests remain within the designated event areas throughout the day.
Ceremony, Phones, and Privacy
The ceremony will be entirely phone and camera-free.
As Woomargama Station is a private working property, we ask that guests not tag, post, or share the venue location on social media during or after the day.
Thank you for helping us protect the privacy and safety of those working on the farm.
Guest Comms
We will be in touch with key updates as the day approaches.
I still have questions!
Please reach out to our planners, Laice & Doug, at hello@placeoflb.com.au — they will be happy to help.
